At STKC, we welcome visitors of all ages to come along and experience the excitement firsthand. Join us on a race day to see the action up close or take part in a Come & Try Day, where you can hop in a kart and get a real feel for the sport in a safe, supportive environment.
Our members are always happy to chat, answer questions, and share advice on how to get started — from choosing the right class and kart, to getting your licence and safety gear.

Held at the Southern Tasmanian Kart Club (STKC), these sessions give you the chance to hop in a kart, hit the track, and see what all the excitement is about. It’s a safe, supervised, and fun introduction to the sport for kids and adults alike.
Our friendly team will guide you through the basics, supply all the gear you need, and help you feel confident behind the wheel. Whether you're looking for a new hobby or just a fun day out, Come & Try Days are the best way to get started.
